Not every Team Renick story evolves from a real estate transaction. Peter’s story illustrates that Team Renick is not just about the sale. They are about building relationships and building community. Peter is a current resident at a community on longboat key. The community itself used to provide property management services but was transitioning out of that business, leaving Peter looking for someone he could trust to take care of his property when he was back up north. Mike heard Peter was looking and introduced him to Eric. Eric quickly offered to provide the needed services to Peter. For the past 3-4 years, Eric has performed weekly checks of Peter’s unit. He makes sure there are no leaks or water damage of any kind and checks on the A/C which is very key down here in Florida during the summertime. As soon as Eric gets word that Peter is coming into town, he promptly turns on the water, turns up the A/C and makes sure everything is ready for Peter’s return.
During the recent hurricane, Eric made sure to provide Peter peace of mind about his unit, providing checks on it to ensure all was okay. Peter did not have to ask for this to be done, Eric just did it on his own and provided the needed feedback from Peter to be rest assured while up North.
Peter says he is most impressed with how fast Eric gets back to him. Every call is returned promptly and Peter says that Eric truly takes care of his property to the level of someone who was being paid for this service. He shared that Eric is doing this pro bono for Peter (as well as many other snowbirds that he has met along the way…and is happy to help!). It’s who Eric is. Those who have met him know this to be the case. He is the real deal. The most genuine person you will meet.
Peter currently has no plans to buy or sell any real estate, but says he certainly knows what Team he’ll use when the time comes. In the meantime Eric will happily keep an eye on Peter’s place and make sure that his home away from home is always in good hands!
