What's Happening in Sarasota, the Beaches and Beyond! (April 14-15th)
This week there are many Easter events for the young and young at heart! From egg hunts to scrumptious brunches, there is something for everyone this weekend in Sarasota, the Beaches and Beyond!
The Sandbar Restaurant on Anna Maria Island will host its 31st Annual Easter Egg Hunt starting at 8:30am. There will also be a parade down Pine Ave, face painting, egg rolling, and pictures with the Easter bunny. This free event is expected to wrap up by noon.
Centennial Park in Venice will host its Annual Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt between 9:30-11am…bring your own basket!
The 21st Annual Big Trucks Day and Egg Hunt at Twin Lakes Park will take place between 10-2pm on Saturday. There will be firetrucks, dump trucks, and all kinds of other trucks for kids to climb around in. There will be 2 egg hunts, photos with the Easter Bunny and so much more.
The Easter Bunny will also visit our very own Team Renick office at 438 St. Armand’s Circle from 1-5pm. Harold the Easter Bunny will be on hand for pictures and will be giving out sweet treats. We’ll also have our popcorn machine going and refreshments so be sure to stop on by!
Saturday is also World Circus Day! The Circus Museum will be offering free admission all day in honour of this! The Ringling Museum complex is located at 5401 Bay Shore Road in Sarasota.
