There are many great events taking place in Sarasota, the Beaches and Beyond this coming weekend!  From Movies on the beach, to Pirates running amuck, to high-flying water stunts...there is something for everyone.  And we can't forget that next week brings Valentines Day and a fabulous event where you can say "I Do"...again!!

Moonlight Movie:  Friday February 10th 6:30pm

The Sarasota Film Festival will be hosting family-friendly movie night at Nathan Benderson Park.  This event is free to attend and refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase.  The movie this week will be Zootopia!  This is an outdoor event so be sure to check their Facebook page for any changes due to weather:  https://www.facebook.com/events/1043489342429650/.


AMI Privateers Thieves Market:  Saturday February 11th from 8am-2pm

Join the AMI Privateers as they host their Thieves Market to raise funds for area youth.  There will be vendors selling treasures (of course) and food, and a 60ft. Pirate Ship to explore.  This event takes place on Coquina Beach on Anna Maria Island.  Since the event ends by 2pm, bring your towel and enjoy the afternoon on the beach!  For more information visit:  www.amiprivateers.org.



Ski-A-Rees Water Ski Show:  Sunday February 12th at 2pm

Say “I Do” ….again:  February 14th

Join many happy couples renew their vows on Siesta Key Beach or Venice Beach.  A licensed official will perform the non-denominational ceremony where hundreds of couples renew their commitment to one another as a group.  Pre-registration is required by calling (9410-861-5000 or visit www.scgov.net/parks.  Pre-registered guests check in at 5pm and the ceremony begins at 6pm.  948 Beach Road for Siesta Key or 101 The Esplanade for Venice!  Music and refreshments provide…dress code is…”Come as you Love”!
