What's Happening in Sarasota, the Beaches and Beyond (January 19-22)
There is never a shortage of things to do in and around Sarasota and this weekend is no exception! Here are two great festivals that are worth checking out!
The Classic Antique, Hot Rod and Custom Car show will be taking place at St. Armand’s Circle Park both Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm. Saturday will showcase Classic Antique Cars while Sunday will turn its focus to Hot Rod and Custom vehicles! Car aficionado’s will enjoy this event! Plus it’s always a great day to spend time at St. Armand’s. Be sure to stop in the local shops, grab a quick treat or find that perfect little gift.

Also this weekend, the Sarasota Native American Indian Festival will be taking place at the Sarasota Fairgrounds on Friday 9-5, Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 10-5pm. Enjoy finding authentic, handmade, one-of-a-kind fine arts and crafts, paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, bead work and leather work, along with Native American food. There will also be traditional Native American drumming, singing and various styles of dance throughout the weekend. Tickets are available at the gate.
Ongoing Event’s to mark on your calendars…
Ladies Night at St. Armand’s Circle takes place the third Thursday of every month. There are raffles, refreshments and special deals offered by participating stores. This is a great way to shop local and support area merchants!
Farmers Market’s: Sarasota’s Farmers Market is every Saturday from 7am 1pm. Sunday from 8am-1pm Siesta Key has their Farmers Market and every Wednesday and Sunday at Coquina beach you can catch their Beach Market!
