Where's Santa? 3 COOL places to find St. Nick this weekend!
Get into the holiday spirit with 1 of these 3 amazingly festive events all taking place Saturday November 26th!
If you feel like watching a flick and relaxing old school style, then you may want to check out Christmas on Bridge Street. The Bridge Street Merchants Association will be showing the original “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and will have popcorn and refreshments on hand. There will also be a tree lighting and live music. This event will begin at 6pm at Bridge Street.
Perhaps Siesta Key’s Light up the Village and Holiday parade sounds more your speed. This is a fabulous family event with face painting and entertainment…and Santa will be giving out free gift bags to the first 250 children that visit him! Local shops will be decorated and will be providing refreshments! There will be free trolley rides between 5:30-10pm from Siesta Key Beach to the Village.
Maybe you are thinking a traditional holiday parade sounds delightful. Well then you may want to head to Venice for their 40th annual Holiday parade! There will be some pre-parade festivities starting at 5pm at the corner of Harbour Drive and West Venice Avenue as well as at the corner of Nokomis Street and West Venice Avenue. The parade will begin at Park Blvd at 7pm. Refreshments will be available for purchase through-out the parade route.
Whichever event you choose, enjoy your evening with family and friends and keep an eye on Team Renick's website to learn more about upcoming area events!
