We've definitely got some fantastic local parks in our region!  Besides the beaches, there are plenty of green spaces to get out and enjoy the nature and beauty of Florida.  One unique place here in our area is the Celery Fields.  Located in the eastern part of Sarasota County, it is known by it's giant grassy mound rising up from the earth and is a great place for the entire family to enjoy!  The signature mound was formed when the county created it's drainage and storm water management system back in the 1920s by digging lakes in the area.  Plants and trees were later added, attracting birds and other wildlife to the area.  Today, there are over four miles of walking trails around the mound and plenty of room to have a picnic lunch or even just hang out.  If you've never been, the Celery Fields is absolutely a place you'll want to check out and bring the whole family!  Watch our video below as Mike and Mike share more!
