We've got an update on the Sarasota Orchestra!  A few months back, Mike and Steve visited the property on the Sarasota Bay front to discuss the orchestra's grand plan to move to Payne Park near downtown Sarasota and build a brand new $100 million facility.  Well, that plan is put on hold for now.  A recent city commission meeting saw dozens of local Sarasota residents voice their opposition to the plan.  They did not like that the precious green space of the park would be lost and, overall, simply didn't feel that it was a good location for the organization.  The Sarasota Orchestra is not giving up, however.  They would still like to move forward with a new building project somewhere, albeit likely in a different location, and would like to have something constructed within the next three years.  What will come of that plan and where will they eventually build?  Only time will tell.  Watch our video below for more information!  And for tons of other great content, head on over to our YouTube channel and check it out!
