When you hire a real estate professional, should you make your decision based on the brokerage they work for or the individual agent themselves?  In the past, the broker held a great deal of power over a real estate transaction, even down to the negotiation.  Whichever broker had the biggest book of business, they were the one to go with as they had the most reach and access within the market.  However, with the rise of the Internet and an online Multiple Listing Service (MLS), brokers don't necessarily have those same competitive advantages anymore.  Today, brokers simply provide a supportive environment for agents to work in and overall guidance if necessary, but otherwise they are generally hands off in most cases.  Therefore, when buying or selling a home, hire the best agent for the job, not the company they work for, and, most importantly, hire the agent that's right for YOU!  Watch below as Mike and Mike share more on this topic!  And for more great content like this, head on over to our YouTube channel and hit SUBSCRIBE.
