Simply Sarasota Tour of Homes
Friday & Saturday | 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The Junior League of Sarasota’s 42nd annual “Simply Sarasota” Tour of Homes will be held on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23, 2019. Our Tour will showcase a sampling of our community’s most fabulous and architecturally significant homes, from Downtown Sarasota to Siesta Key. Homes range in style from modern architecture to traditional, and from historic to new construction. General admission tickets are $30.00 for tour attendees. VIP Trolley Tour tickets are $75.00 each and include private transportation to each stop and a guided tour from former Herald-Tribune real estate editor Harold Bubil.
Sarasota Invitational Regatta
Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The 10th annual Sarasota Invitational Regatta will be held at Nathan Benderson Park, Sarasota, Florida, site of the 2018 Masters World Rowing and the 2017 World Rowing Championships. Middle schoolers will compete the afternoon of February 22, Juniors all day on Saturday the 23rd and Masters rowers on Sunday the 24th. The Rowing for Life event will take place on Saturday. Rowing for Life is a mixed 8+, youth and masters competing for a cash prize ($1,000) which will go to the competing youth team.

Le Marche Bohemien

Five Points Park once again will be transformed into a open-air marketplace featuring eclectic, chic, salvaged, coastal, re-purposed, vintage and epicurean “treats, treasures and art” when Le Marché Bohémien arrives downtown Sarasota on Saturday, February 23.
Southwest Florida Heritage Festival
Saturday | 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
This one of a kind event will focus on history and education. We will offer a number of homesteading skills workshops and demonstrations. There will be a number of activities for the kids as well. Admission is $20 per carload (carpooling encouraged) and $10 per motorcycle.
Fairy House Festival

As we enter into our 6th year, we are thrilled to welcome back over 1800+ guests to ‘Fairy House Festival’. We invite you to join us as we connect directly with the environment and express our creativity while finding the inherent magic of nature and spending time within it! This enchanting family experience will be held in the magical gardens of Historic Spanish Point. Visitors will follow a nature path sprinkled with charming fairy houses, where the acorn cap dinnerware and shelf fungi table remind them to walk spritely on the earth. Fairies will welcome you into our four “Fairy Lands” celebrating each of natures elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water.
Fine Arts Festival of Manatee County

ArtCenter Manatee proudly presents the 18th Annual Fine Arts Festival of Manatee County, a juried two-day outdoor festival that takes place in Downtown Bradenton at the beautiful Riverwalk Park on the Manatee River. The show features local, regional and national award-winning artists, artist demos, shopping, music, food vendors with seating and more. The festival attracts art lovers of all kinds. Admission and parking are free and open to the public. The proceeds of the festival benefit ArtCenter Manatee’s Education and Outreach programs.

The Venice Symphony: European Masters

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 with its enthralling Second Movement Allegretto is the showpiece of this concert that also features Rossini’s popular Overture to L’Italiana in Algeri. The spotlight shines on Venice Symphony Principal Cello Scott Crowley, soloist on Saint-Saens’ Concerto for Cello No. 1., op. 33.
Siesta Key Beach Cleanup

Join the 4ocean Community Cleanup Team and Tervis® in Siesta Key, Florida on February 23rd from 9AM to 11AM for a beach cleanup! The first 100 checked-in participants will receive a free Tervis® tumbler as they celebrate new eco-initiatives with the community. Please be sure to bring a reusable water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, and share this event with all of your ocean-loving friends and family! 4ocean will provide hemp bags and gloves for all of the participants to use during the cleanup.
