Party on the Pass

You're invited to set sail with us at Mote's 11th Annual Party on the Pass! Mote Marine Laboratory will host our fabulous Party on the Pass — a casual night full of good food, good fun and goodwill supporting Jane's Refuge: The Hospital for Dolphins and Whales at Mote Marine Laboratory, and the Mote Marine Laboratory Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Hospital. Multiple dishes will be provided by Sarasota-Manatee Originals restaurants.
Music in the Park at the Riverwalk in Bradenton
Friday | 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Come support local music while watching the sunset over the Manatee River! Realize Bradenton's free, family-friendly, outdoor concert series is back with live music at downtown Bradenton's 400-seat Mosaic Amphitheater on the Riverwalk. Audience members are encouraged to bring a picnic basket, blankets or chairs, and their furry companions on leashes! Snacks, drinks, local craft beer, and wine will be available for purchase.
8th annual Venice Book Fair and Writers' Festival
Friday & Saturday
The Venice Book Fair and Writers Festival is a unique event, featuring writing and publishing workshops, and a special day when local and national authors sell and sign books at a festival market in a beautiful downtown Venice, Florida park.
Lucky Leprechaun 5K
Saturday | 6:00 p.m.
Run with the Lucky Leprechaun around the Lake at Nathan Benderson Park and enjoy the gold at the end of the rainbow! Family fun with running, walking, food and drinks for all ages at the inaugural Lucky Leprechaun 5K. Kids dash for the coins in the age bracketed rainbow dashes and runners and walkers can participate in the chip-timed 5K around the lake. Top 100 male and 100 female finishers will be awarded a commemorative prize. The entire family will enjoy Irish music, food, drinks and games at the festival at the finish line! All participants receive a race shirt, and finisher's medal, plus 1 food and 1 drink ticket per bib to celebrate St. Paddy's day. Additional food and drinks will be available for purchase at the finish line festival.
St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Please join us in the celebration of Saint Patrick's Day Sunday March 17th. Doors will open at 10 a.m. Entertainment lineup will include Tom McNulty ( Irish music) performing from 1-3, Lion Rampant Pipe & Drum (Celtic band) performing from 3-3:30, and Five an Dime Boys (classic, retro, and contemporary cover songs as well as original music) performing from 4-7. We will have food available for sale, raffles, and giveaways. Come celebrate with us...Its going to be the Talk of the Town!

If you love our annual Pumpkin Festival Fruitville Grove, then come join us for our Berry Fest! We will have craft booths, face painting, a rock wall, bounce house, mini train rides, food, games, and our spring baby animals. Bring your family and your appetite for plenty of good eats! Lakewood Ranch Winter Fine Art Festival

Are you an art collector, seek art for your home or office, or merely wish to support the arts? If so, join us for the 2nd Annual Lakewood Ranch Winter Fine Art Festival on March 16-17, 2019. The event is located in downtown Lakewood Ranch on Main Street. Come enjoy an outdoor gallery of original, handmade works by artisans from across America. This tapestry of art is woven from creations in painting, sculpting, jewelry, photography, glass, ceramics, fiber and wearable art, mixed-media, woodworking and much more.
Bradenton Farmers’ Market

The Bradenton Farmers' Market is a place where the community meets each week to enjoy fresh produce, local art, upbeat music, demonstrations by local chefs, and family activities. Parking is free on weekends, and dogs on leashes are always welcome.

Every third Saturday, Mainly Art hosts dozens of local artists and craftspeople displaying and selling their creations. Art, crafts, live music, and food are available from 9am to 2pm on Fourth Avenue West where it connects with the weekly Bradenton Farmers’ Market on Main Street.
STREAM Saturdays at the South Florida Museum

On STREAM Saturdays, you’ll find hands-on, family-friendly experiments and games, crafts and stories or themed scavenger hunts at the Museum from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Go at your own pace and visit one or all the activities before enjoying the Museum for the rest of the day!
