Michael begins by sharing his story of Longboat Key!

A popular resort and second home community, Longboat Key is a barrier island. With the Gulf of Mexico on the west and Sarasota Bay on the east, Longboat Key is home to tall palms, flowering tropical plants and well-groomed streets that lead to world-class restaurants, golfing and elegant communities.

Take a drive on Longboat Key’s Gulf of Mexico Drive and experience one of the most beautiful beach roads in Florida. With a population of approximately 8,000 permanent residents, Longboat Key grows to approximately 20,000 during peak tourist season. Fringed with sea oats, its open shoreline and uninterrupted view of the Gulf of Mexico invite beach-goers to take a long walk. After a day of sunbathing and swimming be sure to take in a sunset. The view is awesome here!
